"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive E:."
We have found 2 potential workarounds currently:
1. Find out what your E: drive is (it may be a card reader on your monitor or some other device) and put a portable storage medium, such as an SD into it. See if the error goes away.
(The SD card should not be formatted or erased)
2. Disable the USB Mass Storage Device in Device manager like this:
- Open up your Windows Control Panel
Under Devices and Printers, Choose Device Manager
- For Windows 10, you will choose "Hardware and Sound" first. Then Device Manager will be listed under "Devices and Printers"
- Open up the Universal Serial Bus controllers group
- Right-click on the 'USB Mass Storage Device' item
- Choose 'Disable'
In the future, if you want to use that device again, you'll need to re-enable the device to use it.
